Now is the envy of all the dead

Time is a very misleading concept. We can learn from the past, but we can't relive it. We can hope for the future, but we can’t predict it. We can spend it but can’t save it. And once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Our time passes by so quickly that we don’t even seem to notice it until it begins to show in the mirror.
Unfortunately, we can’t turn back time. Life is not written in pencil; it’s written in pen! And your future is being constructed by what you’re building today. Live for today because, one day there will be no more next times, last times, spare times, down times, or time outs. So, if you’re going to be thinking about time, there’s no time like the present!
The ironic thing about the present is, we seem to only appreciate it when it’s the past. Like remembering the freedoms of our youth when there was no regrets and little to correct. But life is all about the timing! There’s a time and season for us all. And what we think is the “right” time is not necessarily “our” time. Trust the timing, and don’t force what’s not fitting in your life at this time. Stay in your lane and understand that rejections are sometimes just redirections.
Yes, timing is largely out of our control, but it’s still up to us to focus and capitalize on the things we “can” control and trust that the timing of things for our future is in good hands. Just don’t forget to appreciate who and where you are right NOW. Eventually, your journey will find its successful conclusion, as long as you’re doing all you can to ensure victory. But it’s the NOW that’s important. Don’t waste time. Yesterday is not yours to recover, and tomorrow is promised to no one.
